EVENT FLOW: STUDENTS SESSION INMARCO 2022
17th NOVEMBER 2022
The INMARCO 2022 features a Students Session on 17th November 2022, in addition to the Technical Paper presentations by maritime professionals and an exhibition. The Students Session includes a Panel Discussion on Just Transition – Maritime (Alternate Fuels), a Students Technical Paper Session and a Model Making competition.
Session 1 – Students Technical Papers
Shri Amitabh Kumar IRS, DG Shipping has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest for inaugurating the Students Technical Paper session.
In the morning session, 6 technical papers, selected out of 44 received, were presented.
Model Making Competition
Apart from the Technical Papers, the Students Session also featured a Model Making competition. A total of 8 models were displayed in the Exhibition area. Assessment of the models was undertaken by the Judges on the sidelines of the Panel Discussion.
The Judges for the Technical Paper and Model Making competitions are:

- Puru Bakshi.
- Cmde Vikram Bora.
Session 2 – Panel Discussion: Just Transition – Maritime (Alternate Fuels)
Dr (Mrs.) Sujata Tolani Naik chaired the Panel Discussion. The other panelists represented the following stakeholders:
- (a) Ship Owners / Ship Managers.
- (b) Equipment OEMs.
- (c) Maritime Training Institutes.
- (d) Maritime Administration.
Prize Distribution
Following prizes were distributed by the Chief Guest:
- Winners of Students Technical Paper Competition.
- Winners of Students Model making Competition.
- Winners of IMO Mock Session Competition.
